FAQ
Q: Do you offer onsite consultations?
A: Yes we offer onsite consultations. Many installations do not require a site survey before we roll a truck as we perform hundreds of installs every month without ever seeing the room before hand. Our office staff knows just the questions to ask in order to determine whether we should head to your house to take a look first.
Q: I am thinking about purchasing a new TV, what is the ideal size for my room and should I get LCD or Plasma?
A: The first thing you need to do is look at the room size and also consider the natural brightness of the room. Usually a good way of telling the ideal size for your TV is by taking the distance from your TV to your seat and taking either half or a third of it. If the room is bright you should go with LCD, if it's darker then a Plasma would be best.
Q: I have a brand new 1080P TV and my picture is pixely, why is that?
A: Most likely your TV is receiving a low quality signal. To get optimal performance from your TV, you should get HD Satellite Receiver, HD cable box and sources like HD DVD and Blu-ray players. Also the type of cables you purchase makes a difference.
Q: What cables are the best to use?
A: Depending on what you look for the most out of your purchase, you have many different options.
-HDMI Cables are completely digital and transmit both audio and video HDTV
-DVI Cables are the same as HDMI but only transfer Video
-Component Cables are used to transfer your signal using analog
-S-Video Cable is an analog cable with the highest resolution of 480I
-RCA Cables are the basic connectors mostly used for small and older TV's
